I also recommend that you (and the rest of the fandom,) send individual complaints and letters to Disney XD.  Your support SHOULD NOT - I REPEAT, SHOULD NOT be limited to community petitions only.

After all, a single petition is easy to ignore.  It may have the pleas of thousands of fans, but it will still come off as a single complaint.

Now… an inbox full of angry letters, or a Twitter or facebook account plastered with anger from numerous, individual people on the other hand…

It is with great sadness that I must announce that DisneyXD will not be renewing Motorcity for a second season.

This has been such an amazing and rewarding project for all of us here at Titmouse work on, thanks in no small part to all of you.  I can’t begin to tell you how much having such awesome fans has ment to us.

I’m not really sure what else to say, so I’m just going to include the email that Chris P. sent out to the studio this morning:

You know that stage where you fangirl over a series but haven’t taken a peek at its fandom yet? Where you make a bunch of headcanons while watching the show and thinking you’re the only one with that headcanon? Until you enter the fandom and realized a lot of people share that headcanon and you’re not alone anymore?

I was there. And I’m amazed how I’m not the only one seeing Mike having unrequited love for Chuck. But the fact that so many people could see it makes this pairing even more angsty when it shouldn’t be, ugh. THE AMOUNT OF FEELS I HAVE FOR YOU TWO.

I feel that Mike’s love for Chuck (whether it’s canon or not, because he takes a lot of god damn care of him in the series either way) really is a good representation of what a man’s love can do. As Gene Vincent said “Nothing compares to the love of a man” *le sigh…*
