I have a new canon. Harry Potter meets Inception.

I admit…I love Harry but we get no real looks at James’ personality so I find it really easy to ship Snape/Lily as a good alternate-ship.

If Rowling had shown us ANYTHING of James other than him being a raging, bullying asshat my opinions might be different. She did the same thing with the basically the entire Slythrin house, basically making it the “Evil House.”

Yeah she worked up the evil hype so that the “redemption” would be more dramatic.

When did she redeem Slytherin as a house? Last I remember every single member ditched Hogwarts the moment things went sideways (Excluding Slughorn and Snape)

I’m a huge Snape fan, but…c’mon, his thing for Lily was a bit creepy. I mean, there’s the whole “the one that got away” feeling, and THEN there’s what Snape did, which just went way too far. Idk. I love Snape, so I feel like he deserved more than what he got. And he should’ve been able to move on from Lily. That would’ve been nice. I mean, Remus moved on from Sirius! -cough-
